Breaking News:Suspension of Classwork Due to Heat Wave in Kashmir Division


 
The Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir has issued an official order suspending classwork for students up to the primary level in both Government and Recognized Private Schools on July 29 and 30, 2024. This decision comes in response to the persistent heat wave affecting the region.


The notification, issued under the reference number 200-DIVCOM 2024, mandates that all teaching and non-teaching staff continue to attend their duties as usual despite the suspension of classes for students.


The order was communicated through a circular that has been widely distributed to relevant authorities, including the Principal Secretary to the Government School Education Department, various Deputy Commissioners across the Kashmir region, the Director of School Education, and the Deputy Director of Information for public dissemination.
