Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir: In response to the heavy rainfall and an avalanche warning issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) the Worthy Deputy Commissioner in Kupwara has issued instructions for the closure of all educational institutions (both government and private) up to the 8th standard today. The primary concern is to ensure the safety of students in the region.

As per the latest directions from the Chief Education Office Kupwara, all the teaching staff are required to attend duties and mark attendance on JK App.Teachers shall take stock of the situation and school assets and shall report any damage or vital assessment to authorities.
