 News Report: Advisory Issued for Secondary School Examinations in Kupwara's Hard Zone Areas

Kupwara, February 13, 2025 – The Office of the Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate of Kupwara has issued an important advisory regarding the upcoming Secondary School Examinations for Class 10th, Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th), and Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) in the Hard Zone areas of the district. The examinations are scheduled to commence on February 20, 2025, for Class 12th, February 21, 2025, for Class 10th, and February 22, 2025, for Class 11th.

In light of the challenging weather conditions and other potential issues in the Hard Zone areas, the advisory urges all aspiring candidates to remain stationed within the vicinity of their respective examination centers. This precaution is aimed at ensuring that students do not face any unforeseen difficulties in reaching their centers on the examination days.

The Sub-Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars have been directed to maintain a close watch to facilitate the smooth conduct of these examinations, which are being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).

The advisory has been circulated to various concerned authorities, including the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, the Director of School Education Kashmir, and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kupwara/Handwara, among others. The District Information Officer has also been instructed to ensure the advisory is shared through print and electronic media, while the District Informatics Officer will upload it on the official district website.
