Srinagar, November 2024: The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK), has released the official date-sheet for summative assessments for classes 1st to 9th across all government and private schools in the Kashmir Division. The assessments are set to begin on 25th November 2024 and conclude on 6th December 2024.

Syllabus Reduction for Classes 8th and 9th
In addition to announcing the uniform date sheet, the DSEK has decided to reduce the syllabus for classes 8th and 9th to alleviate academic pressure on students. The detailed syllabus reduction guidelines will be provided separately to schools.
Students, parents, and schools are encouraged to prepare according to this uniform schedule and consult with their institutions for further clarifications regarding the syllabus adjustments.
