J&K Services Selection Board Announces Dates for OMR-Based Written Exams for Constable Posts
Srinagar, November 15, 2024 - The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially scheduled the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) based written examinations for various constable positions, according to an official notification released today.
Exam Schedule:
The written examination for the Constable (SDRF/IRP/Executive) post is set to be conducted on December 1, 2024.
The Constable (Telecommunication) exam will take place on December 8, 2024.
For the Constable (Photographer) post, the examination is scheduled for December 22, 2024.
All examinations will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM across districts in Kashmir and Jammu divisions.
Administrative Measures for Smooth Conduct: The JKSSB, in collaboration with the Divisional and District Administrations, has outlined a comprehensive plan to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process. This includes deploying adequate invigilators, police personnel for frisking, and installing videography for monitoring activities at examination centers.
Key Guidelines:
1. Deployment of Personnel: Observers, magistrates, invigilators, and police will be present at all examination centers. The ratio of invigilators to candidates is set at 1:24.
2. Videography and Security: All exam centers will be under surveillance, with recorded footage to be submitted to JKSSB for verification.
3. Transportation of Exam Materials: Strict measures are in place for the secure transfer of question papers to designated centers.
4. Logistics: Arrangements for drinking water, electricity, and other essential amenities will be made available at all exam venues.
The board has also requested cooperation from the District Administration to ensure the examinations proceed without any disruptions.
