Srinagar: Education Minister Sakina Itoo announced on Thursday that students taking exams in mid-November will benefit from a syllabus relaxation. The decision follows a shift in the academic calendar from March to November, bringing exams earlier than usual.
Minister Itoo explained that mid-November exams aim to avoid snowfall disruptions in winter zones. Originally scheduled for March, the exams have been moved up, and students up to class 9 will receive syllabus relief after consultations with stakeholders to address their concerns.
