| School Timings Adjusted in Kashmir Division Due to Temperature Drop |
Srinagar, October 28, 2024: In response to the declining temperatures, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced new school timings across the Kashmir Division, effective from November 1, 2024. The revised schedule, issued by the DSEK, is intended to accommodate students during colder weather.
According to the official circular, the timings for schools are as follows:
Schools within Srinagar Municipal Limits: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Schools outside Srinagar Municipal Limits and in other parts of the Kashmir Province: 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The DSEK has requested that all educational institutions follow the new timings and has solicited the necessary instructions to implement these changes effectively.
This adjustment aligns with previous practices to ensure students' comfort and safety during colder months. Further instructions may follow based on weather conditions and academic needs.
