Srinagar, October 3, 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially declared the results of the written examination for the post of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department (District Cadre). The examination, which took place on June 23, 2024, was conducted in response to Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2023.
As per the notification, the results and score sheets, based on a total of 120 marks, have been published following the performance of candidates in the Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination. The JKSSB has also notified that an additional 5 marks will be allotted to candidates who had Home Science, Child Development, or Sociology as one of their subjects, a benefit reflected in the result Annexure “A.”
The document clarifies that the allocation of these 5 marks is provisional and subject to verification of necessary documents. Candidates are required to provide valid proof of their degree certificates and mark sheets during the upcoming document verification process, the schedule for which will be notified separately.
Candidates appearing in the results are reminded that mere inclusion in the score sheet does not guarantee a place in the selection list. Final merit will be determined only after successful document verification, and those unable to present the required documents for the additional 5 marks will face deductions during final evaluation.
The JKSSB will soon notify candidates who fall under the consideration zone based on their performance in the written examination and the provisional allotment of additional marks for document verification. Further updates will be provided by the board in due course.
