Srinagar, October 11, 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced document verification for candidates who fall under the consideration zone for the post of Patwari in the Revenue Department. This process is in relation to the OMR-based written examination held on September 1, 2024, and is aimed at filling all vacant positions.
According to the notification (No. JKSSB-COEDEXAM(UT)/10/2024(7434645) dated September 19, 2024), candidates who have cleared the written test are required to appear personally before the designated Document Verification Committees for the scrutiny of their documents. The specific schedule and venue are detailed in Annexure A of the official notice.
Candidates must submit original documents, along with one set of self-attested copies, which include:
1. Online Application Form.
2. Two recent passport-size photographs.
3. One original photo ID proof (Aadhar, Voter Card, PAN, etc.).
4. D.O.B. Certificate (10th Diploma/Marks card).
5. Valid Category Certificate (for reserved categories).
6. Domicile Certificate.
7. 10+2 Marks Sheet/Diploma.
8. Graduation Degree from a recognized university.
9. Bonafide certificate for candidates who obtained qualifications outside J&K.
10. Checklist sheet (as per Annexure B).
11. Order of preferences for various Items/Cadres (as per Annexure C).
12. Any other documents related to qualifications as per the advertisement.
The notification further clarifies that failure to appear for the document verification on the scheduled date will result in the forfeiture of the candidate's right to selection.
