The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a massive recruitment drive for 39,481 Constable (General Duty) positions in various security forces, including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP),Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF),and Assam Rifles (AR). Additionally, recruitment is open for Rifleman GD in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

- BSF: 15,654
- CISF: 7,145
- CRPF: 11,541
- SSB: 819
- ITBP: 3,017
- Assam Rifles: 1,248

The selected candidates will be placed under Pay Level-3, offering a salary range from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens and provide proof of domicile for their respective state or UT.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18-23 years as of 1st August 2024, with permissible relaxations for SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years).
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th class from a recognized board.
