The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced an important notice for applicants who have applied for the posts of Constables in the J&K Police (Home Department). As per Notification No. 01 of 2024, dated 16 July 2024, which advertised these posts under Item Nos. 01 to 06, the JKSSB has received numerous requests from applicants seeking modifications to their submitted application forms.

In response to these requests, the JKSSB has introduced an "Edit Option" for modifying specific fields within the application forms. This edit window will be available for seven days, from 27 September 2024 (10:00 AM) to 03 October 2024 (10:00 PM).
Applicants can make changes to the permissible fields; however, certain details such as the Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Vertical Category, Items Applied, Phone Number, and Email ID will remain non-editable.
Candidates who wish to correct or update their application forms must take advantage of this opportunity within the given time frame. This decision by the JKSSB provides flexibility for applicants to ensure that their forms are accurate and complete before the final selection process.
