The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released the provisional selection list of candidates for admission to GNM/ANM courses in various government and private institutions across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. This follows the completion of the first round of physical counseling conducted between August 12 and August 20, 2024.
Candidates who have been provisionally selected must report to their allotted colleges or institutions by August 27, 2024, up to 3:00 PM, with all required original documents. These documents include domicile certificates, 12th-grade mark sheets, category certificates (if applicable), date of birth certificates, and any other required by the respective institutions.
The heads of the institutions are tasked with verifying the authenticity of these documents and completing the admission process. Additionally, institutions have been instructed to remain open on holidays or off days to facilitate the admission process within the stipulated time.
BOPEE has warned that any candidate found concealing information at the time of admission will face immediate cancellation of their candidature and may be subject to a fine or penalty. The allotment of seats has been carried out according to the provisions of S.O. 176 of 2024.
Candidates with disabilities selected on merit or under any reserved category must undergo a special medical assessment to determine eligibility. Failure to meet the prescribed health standards will result in the candidate being denied admission.
For further information on fees and other terms, candidates are advised to contact their respective colleges. The heads of institutions are also required to report any admission shortfalls to BOPEE by 4:30 PM on August 27, 2024.
This provisional selection marks a crucial step for aspiring healthcare professionals in the UT of J&K and Ladakh, offering them the opportunity to advance their education and careers in the medical field.
