The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has recently conducted the written examination for the Supervisor post in the Social Welfare Department, District Cadre, as per Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2023. The official results and selection criteria have now been announced.
Examination Details
The written examination for the Supervisor post was held on June 23, 2024. A Revised/Final Answer Key was subsequently released on July 9, 2024. The results and score-sheet, based on the candidates' performance, are available in Annexure “A”.
Selection Criteria
- Marks Distribution:
- 95 marks for the objective type Multiple Choice Examination.
- 5 additional marks for candidates with qualifications in Home Science, Child Development, or Sociology.
- Result and Eligibility:
- Inclusion in the score-sheet does not guarantee qualification for document verification or final selection. Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria set by the Board.
- Document Verification:
- Candidates within the merit-based consideration zone will be called for document verification, with the schedule to be announced separately.

- Merit-Based Selection:
- The selection is strictly based on merit, considering scores from the OMR Based Examination and any additional qualifications.
- Final Decision:
- The Board's decision on eligibility and selection is final, and candidates must comply with the criteria.
- Notification for Document Verification:
- A separate schedule for document verification will be notified to those within the merit-based consideration zone.
