The JK Police Department will soon begin the selection process for Constable positions. Candidates must understand the selection procedure, which includes a CBT test, PST, PMT, document verification, and a medical test. JK Police Constable Exam Pattern 2024
The exam consists of 100 questions, each worth one mark, with a total of 100 marks. Candidates have 2 hours to complete the exam.
- General Awareness/General Knowledge: 25 questions for 25 marks
- Aptitude/Mathematics: 25 questions for 25 marks
- English: 25 questions for 25 marks

PST/PET Exam for JK Police Constable
The Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted before the final selection.
Physical Standard Test:
- Male: Minimum height 5.6 feet; chest 33.5 cm (expanded)
- Female: Minimum height 5.2 feet
Physical Standard Test for Ladakh and Gorkha:
- Male: Minimum height 5.4 feet; chest 33.5 cm (expanded)
- Female: Minimum height 5.0 feet
Physical Endurance Test:
- Male: 1600 meters run in 6 minutes; 20 push-ups
- Female: 1000 meters run in 6 minutes; shot put (141.5 feet)
