Jammu and Kashmir Board of Technical Education Announces 2nd upgraded Final Selection List for 3-Year Diploma Programs in Govt/Pvt Colleges academic Session -2024

The Board of Technical Education (BOTE) of Jammu and Kashmir has released the 2nd and final selection list for candidates seeking admission into three-year diploma programs at various polytechnics across the Union Territories (UT) of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. This selection follows the notifications No. 15-BOTE of 2024, 28-BOTE of 2024, and 29-BOTE of 2024, issued earlier this year.

According to Notification No. 32-BOTE of 2024, dated 23rd July 2024, candidates have been provisionally selected or upgraded based on their merit-cum preferences. The final list is available on the official BOTE website [www.jksbotelive.com]

Important Dates and Requirements

Provisionally selected candidates must report to their respective allotted polytechnics between **24th July 2024 and 31st July 2024 by 5:00 PM**. Candidates must carry the following original documents for verification:

1. Marks Card of 10th class

2. Date of Birth Certificate of 10th class

3. Marks Card of 12th class (for MLT students with compulsory Biology)

4. Domicile Certificate

5. Category Certificate, if any

6. Medical Fitness Certificate

7. Any other certificate/document as required by the College/Institution

Instructions for Candidates

Candidates are advised to report on time to ensure proper verification of documents. Polytechnics are responsible for verifying the eligibility of documents before admission. Discrepancies should be reported immediately for further action.

Those who have not received their preferred choice of branch or institution may contact their respective Government Polytechnic College within their district. All Heads of Institutions (HOIs) are requested to update the admission portal of JKBOTE with reference to this notification.

Filling Vacant Seats

Principals of Government and Private Polytechnics are instructed to fill leftover/vacant seats for the year 2024 at the institutional level as per norms.
