Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has forecasted intermittent rains and thundershowers for parts of Jammu and Kashmir until August 3.
However, hot and humid weather will persist in the Kashmir division until July 26.
From July 24 to 26, brief spells of rain and thundershowers are expected in isolated areas of the Kashmir division, while the Jammu division may see light to moderate rain and thundershowers in many areas, the official said.
From July 27 to 31, many areas may experience intermittent light to moderate rain and thundershowers.
From August 1 to 3, intermittent light to moderate rain and thundershowers are anticipated in many areas of J&K.
The official advisory mentioned the possibility of intense, short-lived showers, which could lead to landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones in some vulnerable areas of the Jammu division.
Additionally, hot and humid weather will continue in the Kashmir division until July 26.
