The Higher Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has declared a summer vacation for all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir division and the winter zone areas of Jammu division. The break will begin on July 15 and end on July 24.
In an official order, Alok Kumar, the Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department, specified that the vacation period for these institutions would be from July 15 to July 24, 2024. The order states, "All the Government Degree Colleges falling in the Kashmir division and Winter zone of Jammu division shall observe summer vacation with effect from July 15, 2024, to July 24.
