Srinagar, June 30 (DSN): The government is set to announce a 10-day summer break for schools in the Kashmir Valley beginning on July 8, according to a senior official.
"Schools will have a ten-day summer vacation starting July 8," Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education, informed Daily Spark News.
"The vacation period is scheduled to start on July 8 as the MET department has forecasted rain until July 7," Kumar added.
It's noteworthy that despite a recent increase in daytime temperatures in the Kashmir Valley, the Meteorological Department predicts wet weather until July 7. (Daily Spark News)
