Kashmir University has announced the commencement of its admission process for the academic year 2024, inviting applications for a wide range of professional and non-professional programs. The university, which holds the prestigious NAAC Accredited Grade "A+", is set to conduct the Kashmir University Entrance Test (KUET) for prospective students.
Professional and Non-Professional Programs Offered:
The university offers an array of courses under two main categories:
- Professional Programs: Including Master of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM), Master of Education (M.Ed.), Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.), Mass Communication & Journalism, Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B 3-Year).
- Non-Professional Programs: Spanning subjects like Arabic, English, Hindi, Kashmiri, Linguistics, Persian, Sanskrit, Urdu, Commerce, Economics, Education, Psychology, Archeology, Anthropology, Public Administration,History, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Library & Information Science, Sociology, Social Work, Gender Studies, Biochemistry, Nanotechnology, Botany, Bio-resources, Clinical Biochemistry, Zoology, Microbiology, Electronics, Home Science, Food Science & Technology, Information Technology, Disaster Management, Environmental Science,Geography, Applied Geology, Geo-Informatics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics

In addition to the master's programs, the university also offers 5-year integrated courses BA-LL.B. (Main Campus and Private affiliated Law Colleges)

B.A-M. A Arabic (Kupwara Campus)
B. Sc-M.Sc. Botany (North Campus)
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree under the Choice Based Credit System Scheme, earning at least 24 credits in Core or Generic Elective Courses at the Under-Graduation Level for PG Programs. For integrated programs, the eligibility is based on the 12th standard examination.
Furthermore, candidates having appeared in the
qualifying examination (Bachelors) can also apply provisionally on their own risk
and responsibility, subject to fulfilling all eligibility conditions including acquiring
minimum required percentage by or before the issuance/declaration of entrance test
result.
However, for Integrated Programmes where the eligibility is on 12th basis, the
candidates having appeared in the qualifying examination (12th) can also apply
provisionally on their own risk and responsibility, subject to fulfilling all eligibility
conditions including acquiring minimum required percentage by or before the
issuance/declaration of entrance test result.
