The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released Notification No: 02D-BOPEE of 2024, dated 03-05-2024, inviting online applications for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B.E./B.Tech. Engineering courses for the academic session of 2024. The admissions are open for both Government and Private Engineering Colleges/Institutions within the Union Territory of J&K.

- Application Fee: ₹1000, payable through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

Candidates are advised to review the e-Information Brochure carefully before applying and to stay updated via the official BOPEE website (www.jkbopee.gov.in). The board emphasizes that it is not responsible for any delays in notice publication in print media, assuring simultaneous updates on the official website.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 45% marks for Open Merit Category and 40% for reserved categories.
- Applicants must be domiciles of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh.
- Those appearing for qualifying exams are eligible to apply but must submit their certificates by a notified date.
The application form submission is provisional and subject to document verification. The seats in institutions are contingent upon receiving approval from the competent authority. Filling out the online form and appearing in the CET does not guarantee admission unless eligibility is verified.
