Jammu & Kashmir School Education Department,Jammu Directs CEOs to Submit Files by May 15, 2024, for Staff with Unauthorized Higher Qualifications




Jammu, April 27, 2024 - The Directorate of School Education in Jammu & Kashmir has issued a circular announcing a one-time exemption for teaching and other staff of the School Education Department who have acquired higher qualifications during service without prior permission.

The exemption, detailed in Government Order No. 188-JK(Edu) of 2024 dated 15-03-2024, is granted for those aiming for promotion or inclusion in seniority lists. This decision follows thorough examination and consideration by a committee assigned to review such cases.


All concerned  Chief Education Officers are directed to submit complete cases by April 20, 2024. The department emphasizes proper channel submission by May 15, 2024, as no cases will be considered beyond this date.
