The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has issued a notification inviting eligible candidates to apply for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B-Pharmacy and D-Pharmacy courses in Government and Private Colleges/Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Important Information:
1. Application Period: Online application forms will be accepted from 07-04-2024.
2. Application Deadline: The last date for filling the online application forms is 21-04-2024 (Midnight).
3. Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) online through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
4. Information Brochure: The e-Information Brochure, including the syllabus for the examination/test, can be downloaded from the BOPEE website at [www.jkbopee.gov.in](http://www.jkbopee.gov.in).
5. Common Entrance Test Date: The CET is tentatively scheduled for 19-05-2024.
6. Candidate Responsibility: Candidates are advised to thoroughly review the Information Brochure before filling out the Online Application Form. The Board will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the application form.
7. Stay Updated: Candidates should regularly check the BOPEE website ([www.jkbopee.gov.in](http://www.jkbopee.gov.in)) for updates. The Board does not guarantee simultaneous publication of notices/notifications in print media (newspapers) due to factors beyond its control.
8. Offline Examination: The Entrance Examination conducted by the Board will be offline.
Submission of Online Application Forms:
Interested candidates must upload the following scanned original/self-attested certificates (in PDF format, size 100-200 KB) along with the Application Form:
- Domicile certificate of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh (For Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate)
- Qualifying marks (12th Class) certificate (where result is declared)
- Date of Birth Certificate (only Matriculation Certificate issued by the Board of School Education)
- Valid Reserved category certificate, if applicable
Eligibility for B-Pharmacy Course:
Candidates applying for admission to the B-Pharmacy Course must fulfill the following criteria:
- Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be domiciled in UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate).
- Age: Candidates must be at least 17 years old on 31st December 2024.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities, recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The subjects required include English and optional subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology.
Note that students with 10+2 qualifications from non-formal and non-classroom-based schooling (e.g., National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States) are not eligible for admission to the B. Pharma Course.
