In a recent development, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir specifically the Directorate of School Education Kashmir has issued a stern directive to Chief Education Officers in the region. The communication underscores an urgent need for the settlement of pending cases related to the one-time exemption granted for teaching and other staff who have been offering their services through distance or online mode without prior permission from the Administrative Department.
Earlier DSE Jammu issued order to all CEO'S regarding this matter, now DSE Kashmir also directs all ceo's to submit files of teaching and other staff who have acquired higher qualification without proper permission during service.
The letter, dated 29th April 2024 references a government order issued on 15th March 2024. It expresses concern over delays in settling these cases and urges immediate action. Chief Education Officers are instructed to strictly submit all pending cases as per the devised format by or before 15th May 2024. Notably, this is a one-time exemption, and no case will be entertained thereafter. Responsibility for compliance rests with the Chief Education Officers.
For strict compliance,
